We voted! Did you? (Photo Credit: Element5 Digital)
Voting is one crucial way to make our voices heard, to participate in cultivating a more perfect union for all who call the United States home, and to be better neighbors to our brothers and sisters throughout the world. Δημοκρατία (Democracy) is, as you no doubt know, a Greek word. "Demos" = common people and "kratos" = rule. One of the key ways to support a government of, for, and by the people is to VOTE.
There is no Greece Is the Word newsletter coming your way today, election day in the United States. We are pausing our publication cycle to encourage all subscribers able to vote in United States elections to keep their focus on voting.
Haven't voted yet? Please go vote in person. Now.
Voted already but not sure if your loved ones have? Call them and ask if they've voted; if they have, celebrate their civic engagement! If they haven't, encourage them to do so right away.
Greece Is the Word Volume 7 will be in your inbox Tuesday, November 10th, one week from today!
